Got warm welcome -told staff fancied something different. Asked hot or cold.. .Said "Hot" staff member made me Chai Latte with Coffee...... It looked great and tasted great!!! Great atmosphere and relaxed.. Very clean and staff are Great too...
First time to this cafe, and we really enjoyed the lunch and the coffee. Most staff members are friendly except 1 lady. We definitely will be returning to this cafe. Good selection of vegetarian menu. Thank you.
Liz is an absolute credit to Boswell's - friendly, polite, bubbly and all this in a way not to be overbearing. The food and drinks are of high standards and reasonable prices. Not our first time and definitely not the last. Remember to ask for a loyalty card!
Good wholesome food at a reasonable price. I would have scored them higher but I was somewhat bemused to see one staff member laying the pieces of paper from food orders ON TOP OF THE FOOD!!! I hope they all wash their hands as the paper gets passed between staff!!
Really great cafe in the Kennet Centre, Newbury. The staff are all really friendly, quick and efficient and a bit nutty too! Singing and dancing behind the counter, very funny! Food was super quick coming out, hot and tasty. Really helpful with choosing from the menu and chatting to the kids who thought the place was great!

I was served by Sarah at Newbury Boswell's. She was so lovely bubbly and friendly. Very helpful and plated my plate up beautiful. And came and asked if my food was ok and it was delicious. I wish their was more Sarah around
Visited today 12/04/2025 with my other half was greeted with a friendly smile ordered 2 breakfasts 1 was gluten free when they arrived at the table I was told by a very friendly young man that he couldn't guarantee the chips were gluten free as they use the chip fryer to cook other things when I told him I couldn't eat the chips as I would be ill he took it away and I was given another breakfast but with gluten free toast I cannot fault any of the staff they are all very friendly and the breakfasts were very tasty well done Boswells cafe but you do need to take the chips off the gluten free breakfast and swap it for toast other than that all is good
